Board Membership 


McCormick Playground Arena Board of Management consists of 11 members: 

  1. 9 citizens appointed by Toronto City Council

  2. City Councillor for Ward 9, Davenport

  3. A representative from the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division.

Board Meetings


Board meetings are held monthly at McCormick Arena, usually on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. except in July, August and December, unless otherwise noted.  


The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the George Nixon Room at McCormick Arena. 


Board meetings are open to the public. Anyone who wishes to attend a meeting can sit in the public gallery to observe the proceedings. Under limited circumstances, meetings can be closed to the public as permitted by Section 190 of the City of Toronto Act, 2006


Presentations to the Board


Anyone who wishes to speak to the board by making a presentation at an upcoming board meeting should contact the Arena Manager by email: mail@mccormickarena.com


Requests to make a presentation to the board should be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day before a board meeting. Presentations should be 5 minutes or less. People with disabilities requiring accommodation should advise the Arena Manager.
